Aerosoft Releases Lukla Mount Everest Extreme for Aerofly FS2

Along with developer LimeSim, Aerosoft has released Lukla and the surrounding Mount Everest areas for Aerofly FS2.

Lukla is undoubtedly one of the most famous airports in the world, known for its challenging approach and notoriously short, slanted runway with a mountain at one end to ensure you come to a complete stop. The airport is also known as the ‘Gateway to Everest’ and is the first port of call when following in Edmund Hillary and Tenzig Norgay’s footsteps in attempting to climb the 29,000ft mountain.

LimeSim has included not only a detailed rendition of Lukla but the surrounding areas of Mount Everest including 12 airports in total, 12 helipads and a whopping 200 square kilometres of detailed terrain and texturing.

Take a look at the comprehensive screenshot gallery and feature list below to see the full extent of the scenery.

If you want to attempt the ambitious landing at Lukla or to take in the surrounding picturesque terrain, you can pick up Lukla – Everest Extreme for Aerofly FS2 now over on the Aerosoft Store for 30.20 EUR which is roughly $34 or £26.86.
