Simulation giant Aerosoft, in partnership with Stairport Sceneries has released Greater Moncton International Airport (CYQM) for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport is located in the Moncton metropolitan area, approximately 4 nautical miles from Downtown in the city of Dieppe, New Brunswick. The airport was initially founded in 1928 to carry mail and passengers to the Magdalen Islands, but would quickly undergo growth and expansion in the years to come.
Just a year after it was founded, the airstrip would get two new runways, an air maintenance structure, as well as become home to one of Canada’s premiere flight schools, the Moncton Flight College. Over the decades civilian and commercial air traffic has continued to expand, and the airport currently handles almost 700,000 passengers a year.
According to Aerosoft, this scenery represents an incredibly detailed recreation of Greater Moncton International Airport. It comes packed with features such as 4K PBR textures, custom approach and taxiway lights, as well as custom winter animations and textures.
