Flight simulation company Aerosoft have announced and released their latest scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Dusseldorf Airport (ICAO: EDDL).
The German scenery has been developed for the latest version of MSFS by Jo Erlend Sund and Lukas Veziroglou, who have previously worked on Aerosoft’s Frankfurt and Oslo sceneries. Built exclusively for MSFS 2024, the scenery promises an accurate recreation of the two-runway airport in the west of Germany, with accurate models of airport buildings and facilities, an up-to-date airport layout, custom terrain elevation mesh and runway profiles, and also high resolution and realistic building textures.
As a major base for airline Eurowings, the airport also welcomes a multitude of international carriers, with flights to North America, across Europe and as far as the Middle East. Aviators can enjoy ILS, RNP and even SRA approaches to its runways 23L/R and 05L/R.
The project had been kept a secret, but the team took to Discord to not only announce the project, but to release it too. You can purchase Aerosoft Airport Dusseldorf for MSFS2024 at their website for €16.76 (excluding VAT).
