Following the announcement in the scenery roadmap the other day, Aerosoft has released its rendition of Dusseldorf Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020).
The German scenery has been developed for the latest version of MSFS by Jo Erlend Sund and Lukas Veziroglou, who have previously worked on Aerosoft’s Frankfurt and Oslo sceneries. Originally built exclusively for MSFS 2024, the team has found a way to backport it to Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020). It comes with the same level of features, but within the technical limitations of the older generation simulator.
As a major base for airline Eurowings, the airport also welcomes a multitude of international carriers, with flights to North America, across Europe and as far as the Middle East. Aviators can enjoy ILS, RNP and even SRA approaches to its runways 23L/R and 05L/R.
If you already own the airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, you can get it free from the Aerosoft One application. If you don’t already own it, you can buy it from Aerosoft’s store for €16.77 (excluding taxes).
