Aerosoft has released Berlin-Brandenburg airport for X-Plane 11.
Affectionately known as Willy Brandt airport, Brandenburg is, in fact, a heavily delayed and costly construction project and quite possibly one of Europe’s biggest construction sites. Construction began in 2006 and the airport was scheduled to be open by 2011.
When the airport officially opens to the public, an estimated 34 million passengers are expected to pass through here every year making it Germany’s third biggest airport. Lufthansa, Easyjet and Eurowings are expected to become the leading carriers at Berlin-Brandenburg airport.
Included with this release is a highly detailed rendition of the airport including the older Schönefeld airport with the same level of detail.
Two configs are included which gives the user the option to switch between Brandenburg or Schönefeld.
For extra immersion, animated jetways, dynamic apron vehicles and realistic 3D grass and vegetation with a ground layout circa the end of 2018 are also included.
The full feature list can be found below.
If you would like a copy of Berlin-Brandenburg, it is available now from Aerosoft for €29.95.
