Following on from their recent series of scenery releases, publisher Aerosoft has now provided MSFS users with their own high-quality rendition of Augsburg Airport (EDMA), available for purchase via the Aerosoft online store.
Augsburg Airport (EDMA) is a small German regional airport located only 7km to the northeast of the culture-rich, eastern-bavarian city of Augsburg. In its current manifestation, the airport only opened its doors in 1968 and originally served as a home base to what would later become regional carrier Augsburg Airways.
Following Ausgburg Airways’ integration into the Team Lufthansa brand, all passenger services were transferred to the much larger Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport, thereby leading to the cessation of commercial services at Augsburg Airport. Today, the airport mainly serves general aviation traffic. Interestingly, the airport still sees a few regular commercial connections, one of which is operated by Sun Air of Scandinavia between Augsburg and the French city of Toulouse, mainly carriying Airbus Helicopter employees commuting back and forth between the city pair.
Scenery developer and publishing house Aerosoft has now released this German regional airfield for MSFS. The scenery package comes included with a detail-rich and entirely accurate representation of the real-world airfield. It is set to come included with, among others, PBR textures applied to all airport objects, up to 20cm/pixel photorealistic ground textures, as well as dynamic lighting across the airfield.
The scenery can now be purchased via the Aeorsoft online store and is set to cost you €12.56 E.x. VAT.
