Aerosoft Releases Airport Berlin Brandenburg for MSFS

Aerosoft has released Airport Berlin Brandenburg (EDDB) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The new downloadable content pack for the simulator brings the German airport to the simulator. The airport is right in the middle of Europe giving plenty of routing options to locations across the continent and beyond. Featuring an extensive apron for plenty of parking, long runways, and various maintenance hangers, the famous airport can support a variety of simming needs.

The product features a highly accurate representation of the airport in the new simulator with detailed building models, high definition textures, and custom aerial imagery. The airport’s terminal buildings, hangars, and airport facilities have all been included, along with accurate taxiway, apron, and stand layouts. The layout is accurate to how the airport looks today. Furthermore, the airport includes realistic dynamic lighting and also animated jetways. Finally, Aerosoft has included various VFR scenery in the surrounding area such as the Waltersdort shopping complex, various bridges, and other visual elements to guide pilots to the airport.

It’s worth noting that functional safegates will be added as soon as there is an option within the SDK. Furthermore, the product page states that users should select “Schonefeld / EDDB” after the installation as the simulator hasn’t yet updated the airport’s new name.

You can buy Aerosoft Airport Berlin Brandenburg for Microsoft Flight Simulator now for €16.77.

This would be a great accompanying product for the recently released Aerosoft CRJ for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
