Aerosoft’s large collection of German airports receives another addition with the recently released Airfield Bielefeld (EDLI) for Microsoft Flight Simulator, developed by Stairport Sceneries.
This general aviation airport is located in the southern part of Bielefeld and is known for all sorts of activities ranging from gliders to hot air balloons, helicopters, and of course both general aviation and (small) commercial aircraft.
Despite the satirical conspiracy theory claiming that Bielefeld doesn’t exist, it most certainly does within Microsoft Flight Simulator with Asobo’s photogrammetry rendition of the city. As a result, Aerosoft and Stairport Sceneries’ offering provides an enticing destination for any Bielefeld-doubters out there.
Aerosoft’s scenery addon for Airfield Bielefeld (translated in German to Flughafen Bielefeld), includes original 3D models and PBR textures as well as custom lighting, static aircraft, and more. Check out the full feature list below. Aerosoft’s Airfield Bielefeld is available on the Aerosoft marketplace as well as on SIMMARKET for $9.99 and €8.36 (excl. VAT) respectively. Fortunately for those of you on Xbox, it should also make its way to the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace soon.
