Aerosoft have released their updated version of Friedrichshafen for P3D v4, which joins Aerosoft’s new ‘professional’ line. It is developed by the award winning German Airports Team along with Peter Hiermeier.
This updated Friedrichshafen scenery brings the small German airport up to scratch with its current state.
If you have previously purchased Aerosoft Friedrichshafen X either downloaded or boxed you are entitled to an upgrade price of 4.19 euros incl. VAT, (price varies depending on country). New features in P3D V4
- All code is compiled with P3D V4 SDK such as BGLs by using new material options and being optimized for the new engine.
- Optimized all objects for new shadow technology
- Ground layout including detailed aerial image following P3D V4 SDK
- Automatic seasonal changes of relevant 3D objects based on V4 scripting variables, also for snowfall outside winter season
- New, individual ground adaptations to prevent steps at airport borders when using different meshes (e.g. default/FTX Global)
- New, optimised 3D runway lighting with activation/deactivation based on time of day and weather conditions
- Apron lamps with new effects and dynamic light
- Changed AFCAD approaches at Airac 1708
- Animated Zeppelin NT flying over Lake Constance between spring and autumn
