After a bit of teasing only at the start of this month, Aerosoft has promptly released their much anticipated Faroe Islands XP for X-Plane 11 just in time for the holiday season as promised.
The Faroe Islands is a North Atlantic archipelago part of the Kingdom of Denmark. It’s well-known for its beautiful surroundings and unpredictable conditions leaving you, the pilot with a challenge. Vágar Airport (EKVG) is included and accurately modelled with it’s sloped runway and surrounding terrain leaving you in for a challenge.
Faroe Islands XP is a complete, realistic recreation of the Faroe Islands covering an area of about 1,400 km². Aerosoft’s rendition for X-Plane features high-resolution terrain mesh, hundreds of custom objects, 3D vegetation, and night lighting.
