With the Aerosoft CRJ now firmly in the hands of simmers on Microsoft Flight Simulator, and the Twin Otter coming along nicely, attention is starting to turn towards the other line of aircraft that Aerosoft is known for. Whilst the thread created by Aerosoft, and the subsequent previews, were initially dominated by the narrow-body Airbus, it has been confirmed that priorities have now shifted.
Mathijs Kok, project manager for the Aerosoft Airbus series, confirmed that “the A330 has the priority at this moment.” Whilst this news does confirm that we will likely see the wide-body Airbus from Aerosoft before the narrow-body ones, this could still be subject to change.
No further details were shared, nor any images, but we’ll be sure to keep a close eye on development. No reason as to why things have shifted in terms of the development priority, but knowing that a long haul aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator is being prioritised is welcome news.
