Developer and publisher Aerosoft has taken the popular performance calculation tool PFPX out of the Aerosoft Shop. Mathijs Kok explained on the Aerosoft Forums that the developer of PFPX, FlightSimSoft, has indicated that the tool will not be further developed or updated, and support will remain at a minimum. He also explains that the subscription servers will stay online, and that valid subscriptions will still work. People will be able to continue to buy a subscription, but Aerosoft is not sure for how long this situation will last.
At the same time, developer FlightSimSoft has also published a statement. They thank the community for their continued support over the last years, and go on to state that PFPX itself as well as the server subscription will continue to be available through their own homepage. The ticket system for support will also remain available. FlightSimSoft is in contact with Stephen Cooke, who has indicated that he would like to continue to give support to the PFPX community.
