Aerosoft Announces Helgoland Professional

A few days ago, Aerosoft very quietly announced that they would be bringing their Helgoland Professional airport to today’s standards. The airport was originally released for FSX and FS2004 some years ago and the development team want to bring a much more robost and detailed product. Just looking at the previews below gives this impression. The team have also promised ‘many, many’ new features, including the reshaped Duene island (with runway touchdown closer to the ocean) and plenty of offshore helipads and buildings.

What’s really interesting is that as well as FSX and P3DV4, it will also be releasing for AeroflyFS 2. How this fits into the ‘professional’ line we’re not sure.

More details will be shared once we have them. For now, keep an eye on the official Aerosoft forums for details.
