Developer Tailstrike Designs has put together some preview shots of their latest development Bari Airport for P3D. These screenshots have been posted on the Aerosoft forum by Mathias Kok, on behalf of Tailstrike Designs.
Bari airport is located in the Apulia region of southern Italy, on the Adriatic coast. The airport has seen recent redevelopment along with being renamed after Pope John Paul II who was born Karol Wojtyła. The airport itself is located approximately 8 kilometres from Bari city centre. It handles just under 4 million passenger movements each year, taking passengers to cities all over Europe and North Africa including Munich, London, Milan and Sharm El Sheik operated by airlines such as Alitalia and British Airways.
Tailstrike Designs and Aerosoft reassured the community that the development has not halted despite radio silence. They have posted previews of the upcoming development to include textured shots of the runway and taxiway, along with screenshots and a 360-degree video of the 3D modelled control tower and side building which appear to have PBR texturing.
Do keep in mind that there is still a lot of work to do before this scenery is ready for release. Be sure to keep your eye on the Aerosoft forum for more information regarding the Bari Development.
