Today Mathijs announced they will be releasing an A318 “Research Edition” free to current Airbus customers. Aerosoft will be using this platform as a way to test new features for their Airbus aircraft. This special edition will run separate from the existing Airbus.
Mathijs mentioned that testing this will not give a free upgrade or product, however those who help out will a lot will be rewarded. I’m really looking forward to this helping this project. Perhaps the Americans can finally get weights and distances in pounds and feet? We’ll see!
