Aeroplane Heaven pushed a minor update for their single-engine airplane offering, the Socata Rallye MS-893 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. If you’re unfamiliar with the Socata Rallye, check out our release article that details the features and capabilities of this unique airplane.
The changelog for this update is relatively minor, with the most important being a fix to resolve the overstress and overspeed problem. According to a forum post, this is likely referring to issues where max flap settings would cause an overstress at 60kts, which is inaccurate to the real thing. Additionally, they made some minor changes including changing the autoslat behavior to help at slow speeds, removing some twitchiness in the flight dynamics, and adding a heading indicator in addition to JSON files.
If you’re interested in picking up a copy, you can do so on the Orbx site (or Orbx Central) for $30.19 AUD ($18.93 USD, €18,32, or £15.26). While the airplane was not originally created with native MSFS 2024 support, the developer did include a compatibility version that will run on the platform (with workarounds needed).
