After various previews, the team at Aeroplane Heaven has released their Heinkel HE-111 P2. The classic aircraft was first used during the Spanish Civil War and was responsible for bringing the first fearsome “Blitzkreig” to the theatre of war. The recognisable glass and shape of the nose and cockpit made it incredibly distinguishable.
The aircraft developed by Aeroplane Heaven takes all of the classic charm and quirk of the aircraft and has beautifully crafted it for all mainline ESP platforms. The aircraft comes with accurately crafted textures and modelling to make sure that there are plenty of authentic details scattered throughout. The team has also worked extensively on the animations such as the control surfaces on the external model and also the virtual cockpit. Levers, knobs, pedals and more moves just as they do in the real aircraft.
Something the Aeroplane Heaven team are proud of is the authentic sound pack they have created to launch alongside the aircraft. With their signature “out of sync” engine throb when at full throttle.
Also included are a range of liveries, all of which have been designed with authenticity in mind. If you’re using Prepar3D version 4.4 and above (including the newly released Prepar3D V4.5), you will get to enjoy PBR on the surface of the aircraft.
The aircraft is available to buy in one of three packs. You can choose either the FSX/P3D1-3 version for $29.95, the P3D4.4+ version for $29.95, or finally, if you own all the simulators, you can buy the “Heinkel Bundle” which includes all versions for $36.95. Right now the product is only available via the Aeroplane Heaven store, but will be made to PC Aviator, JustFlight and FS Pilotshop shortly.
