Aeroplane Heaven Previews Upcoming Caravelle

Aeroplane Heaven has dropped some previews of their upcoming Caravelle for P3D and FSX.

In a post on Facebook, the developer dropped some pictures that show off the upcoming PBR effects on the classic airplane in P3D v4.4.

The post also stated that users of lower versions of P3D and FSX will be able to get their hands on a ‘PBR-look’ version of the plane that will presumably have a glossy finish to mimic the reflective properties of PBR.

The Sud Aviation Caravelle holds the distinction of being the world’s first jet-powered airliner to be developed for the short/medium-range market. First produced in 1959, the plane saw service until 2005 and was primarily used by Air France, Scandinavian Airlines, Swissair, and Finnair.

Developed by Aeroplane Heaven, the airplane will be distributed through the standard distribution channels, according to the developer. The project will be completed solely by Aeroplane Heaven, which is a departure from the work they were completing on the plane with Just Flight.
