The team at Aeroplane Heaven continue to develop aircraft from history. Their latest previews continue that trend and this time, they’ve previewed some more modelling of the Hurricane Mk1A. This is a new aircraft in development from the team.
The aircraft itself is covered in history. The 1930s aircraft had a huge role in the Battle of Britain in the 1940s. Despite pressure from other aircraft makers Hawker Aircraft (the aircraft manufacture) pushed on ahead and created a refined aircraft that dominated during the war. It was thanks to various innovations such as retractable landing gear and a more powerful engine that led it to being successful. Since then over 14,000 have been built and produced.
If the Hurricane MK1a is like any of their previous work,we’ll be in for a treat.
