In a long Facebook post, Aerofly FS 2 has announced their FS2020 simulator on mobile. While it will be a new purchase, this version is an update of the existing FS2019 rather than an entire new version. It sees the addition of new flying areas such as Nevada, Utah, Colorado and the Denver city area. This means that the Grand Canyon will be covered. Regarding coverage, the developer further added in a post on the Aerofly forums that they were trying to keep that app under 4 Gb of size, and that they did not like in-app purchases. This means it is unsure for now if there will be further payware DLCs available, but still leaves the door open for freeware content.
The aircraft hangar has received some care too, with the introduction of the Boeing 777 to the fleet, bringing the total available aircraft to 22. The Dash 8 and the A320 have been improved in terms of system depth. While this is clearly not a study sim, it remains an interesting time killing app that can be brought pretty much everywhere.
The Aerofly FS2020 has so far been announced only on iOS systems. No release date has been given so far, but FS2019 was released on December 14th, so we may expect a similar release date. Users may find the 2019 version on the iOS Store for only $6.99.
