Developer ADSparks has released Glasgow International Airport freeware for X-Plane 11.
Glasgow International Airport is the largest and busiest passenger airport in Scotland just over 8.5 miles away from Glasgow City centre. The airport is serviced by mainly UK airlines including British Airways, FlyBe and TUI flying to mainland Europe, Ireland and North Africa. North American airlines also service the airport from destinations such as New York, Toronto and Newark.
ADSparks has modelled the airport with custom buildings, ground texturing and other objects. From the screenshots below, the ground texturing appears to be PBR.
The airport also incorporates SAM (Scenery Animation Manager) to enable moving objects such as jetways. The developer has also included two versions of the release, an Orbx TrueEarth GB North compatible version and a default/Ortho4XP version, this helps to blend the airport into the surrounding areas.
If you wish to download the airport, you can do so from the community X-Plane forums here.
