Also known as Xiaogang Airport, Kaoshiung International Airport (RCKH) is a medium sized civil airport that served over 7 million passengers in 2018. The airport has a single east-west runway and two passenger terminals one international, one domestic.
Kaoshiung International Airport is a hub for Eva Air, China Airlines, Mandarin Airlines, Tigerair Taiwan, and Uni Air. Destinations from Kaoshiung are scattered all throughout Asia with the most popular being Hong Kong. Other airlines like Jeju Air, Chine Eastern, VietJet, Xaimen Air, and many others have flights into the airport.
Aco Design Studio has recreated the airport in high detail, all buildings on the airport have been created using PBR materials and high resolution textures. The terminals have highly detailed interiors and stunning night lighting effects. Areas around the airport have also been developed, cars can be seen in the parking lots along with hand placed vegetation and scenery objects.
Night lighting effects can be seen on the city of Kaoshiung at night, a greatly appreciated feature from Aco Design Studio. Ports around the city and airport have been modified with ships in the harbor and various containers stacked together and scattered about. The ground textures on the airport are in high resolution and have PBR materials as well. The parking stands have ground clutter beside them, this helps bring life to the airport.
