A2A Simulations has released its Accu-Sim Aerostar 600 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 under the ‘early access’ banner.
The Accu-Sim Aerostar 600 is a fully native aircraft developed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, optimised with Level of Detail (LOD) modelling and performance enhancements to match default aircraft smoothness. Powered by Accu-Sim 2.0, it features a physics-based flight model validated against real-world Aerostar performance, along with advanced ground handling that simulates weight-on-wheels dynamics, tire side-loading, and surface-dependent behaviour.
Each Lycoming IO-540-G1B5 engine is simulated per cylinder, capturing individual fuel injection, ignition, compression, and wear. Additional systems include a detailed fuel system with crossfeed and contamination modelling, a custom oil system with viscosity degradation, and a physically simulated engine starter that mimics real-world crank cycles.

The cockpit features a full Collins Microline avionics stack, including NAV/COM radios, DME, ADF, transponder, and support for multiple GPS systems such as the Working Title GNS 430/530, PMS GTN 750, and TDS GTNxi. Navigation is aided by a custom Century NSD-360A HSI and a realistic Century IV autopilot. Also included are JPI EDM 790/760 engine monitors for detailed leaning procedures and engine management.
The aircraft features an in-sim tablet for fuel, payload, engine diagnostics, and environmental data, as well as an interactive walkaround mode for inspecting components. All wear, damage, and system states are persistent and can be adjusted per livery. Over 1,000 dynamic sound effects and high-quality visuals round out the aircraft’s feature set.
Early Access Meaning
A2A Simulation says that the Aerostar being in early acess means that they give users the chance to experience the aircraft sooner and help the team shape its refinement. The team said that they are bringing it to the masses in a “late beta stage”, with only a few things left to be polished before a 1.0 version.
If you are looking to pick it up, you can do so from the A2A Simulations website for $49.99.
