Aircraft developer A2A Simulations has provided an update on how things stand with their products and the upcoming release of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. This update includes information on the Comanche 250 in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and their upcoming Aerostar 600.
Starting with how the current version of the Comanche 250 will behave in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, A2A Simulations said that the plane will work “well” with the new simulator. They said there may be a few issues that need addressing, but the core of the product will work nicely with the new simulator. Not long after the final build of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, A2A Simulations will provide more details.
In terms of new features taking advantage of the new capabilities in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, A2A said that they are evaluating the approach they want to take with regard to a native version.
Aerostar 600
A2A Simulations also passed comment on the Aerostar 600. They said that it is “shaping up to be a great aircraft” but sadly has shifted to a 2025 release. They apologised but wanted to inform the community this is due to consideration of the new requirements of the MSFS 2024 SDK.
A2A also added, “Rest assured, developing aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator is still our top priority and we plan to release more Accu-Sim aircraft next year, not just the Aerostar.”
