A New Microsoft Flight Simulator Patch is in the Works

Whilst the news isn’t all that surprising considering that the simulator is updated on a regular basis, we thought it was worth pointing out that a new patch is in the works that will fix some of the issues reported following Sim Update 9.

The news comes from the official Microsoft Flight Simulator blog and confirms that some “emerging issues” from the past week will be addressed.

There are no patch notes or details at this time, but we are aware that some of these bugs will deal with issues reported by Parallel 42 with flickering glass when certain conditions are met.

Whilst there is no indication of a release at this stage, the team are hard at work in bringing this patch out.

It’s also worth noting that the next World Update, Italy and Malta, will be released on May 17th, so it’s likely that the patch will release between now and then.

Article updated and corrected to say that the flickering occurs on glass, not the displays.
