Over on Reddit, a new post appeared titled “737-400 in MSFS”. Of course, this piqued the interest of many and clicking through showed off 12 preview shots of the Boeing aircraft in the simulator. These screenshots appear to be for a new project/add-on for the simulator and not an official update from Microsoft.
The 12 previews of the aircraft in the simulator took us from the ground to the skies and also into the hangar as well. We saw mostly 3D modelling of the aircraft from the exterior, but a handful did give us insight into the 3D virtual cockpit including some of the dials from the classic jet.
The original poster of the screenshots, u/HughesMDflyer4, used to be a member of the TFDi Design team, but left the company back in 2018. However, we are not clear on whether this project will be released in conjunction with another established developer or as part of a new company. Either way, these model previews certainly have us very excited.
We have reached out to a few contacts to see what information we can obtain about the 737-400 for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
