29Palms has finally released its long-awaited Santorini Airport & Island pack for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Santorini Airport (LGSR) is located in the heart of the island, offering frequent services to other Greek islands and many locations in Europe. During the summer months, it is extremely popular with tourists from the UK, Germany and France as a getaway to warmer climates and gorgeous scenery.
Included is a fully modelled airport, with the current apron layout. Expect to find highly detailed modelling throughout, including FOD bins, apron vehicles, parking areas, custom windsock, and accurate signage. There is also interior modelling for the main terminal building, the new fire station and dynamic night lighting.
The product not only features an accurate rendition of the airport, but it also includes a depiction of the entire island of Santorini. Explore the island and find points of interest such as Fira Metropolitan Church of Ypapanti, Akrotiri Lighthouse, and St John’s church. Small towns, villages, and the ports of the island have also been faithfully modelled. Also, all vegetation on the island has been placed specifically to ensure it’s more realistic and lifelike.
You can buy your copy from Contrail for $19.85 USD.
