REMEX Software has provided a brief statement regarding the current development of Deadstick Bush Flight Simulator. The bush flying simulator was due to enter Early Access soon, but the developer has requested that the community allow them more time to make sure that everything is as good as it possibly can be.

In a brief statement on Facebook, REMEX Software had this to say:

We know you are all eagerly awaiting some news on when Deadstick will be entering Early Access so we wanted to share an update on this.

Development is going well, but like a lot of game development, not quite as quickly as you plan. The whole team is working hard to get Deadstick ready to enter Early Access but with various work needing to be done, we would prefer to not announce an actual release date until we can be 100% sure we can hit it.

We understand not having an actual date might be frustrating but we would rather be sure we can make the date we next announce and more importantly make sure Deadstick is ready to be enjoyed as we always intended. As soon as we know an achievable release date we will be sure to announce it properly.

In the meantime, we thank you for your patience and understanding. We have lots of new things to share and are looking forward to sharing them with you in the coming weeks.

After being shown off originally back at Flight Sim Show 2017, we’re excited to see how the simulator has progressed since. Fortunately, people will be able to try it out at this year’s FlightSimShow as it has been confirmed that The Irregular Corporation will be representing REMEX Software this year at the show.

If we see any further news regarding Deadstick Bush Flight Simulator, we’ll be sure to let you know.

REMEX has announced via Facebook that they hope to release Deadstick in Q2 2019. The project has been eagerly anticipated since the original announcement and it looks like you’ll soon be able to get your hands on this exciting new simulator.

Deadstick is a brand new bush pilot simulator with the aim of delivering an authentic and realistic experience as you battle the difficult landings and lack of modern features such as autopilot and de-icing. REMEX stated in a steam update ‘We are now aiming for a Q2 2019 release’ and they now feel comfortable hitting that deadline.

The developer also announced the introduction of bimonthly live streams to allow progress visibility. The first stream will be on the 14th March at 4pm GMT. Where the streams will be available to watch is currently unknown with REMEX stating ‘Details of where you can watch these will be provided closer to the time.’

This is certainly great news as the project edges closer to completion. We’ll keep you posted with any news as soon as we get it.
